About us Trustees Safina Nadeem I became a Board Member for BHA for Equality in April 2016. Working in various roles in the Public Sector for over 20 years, I frequently came across the excellent work of BHA. As someone who is highly passionate about equality, the organisation’s ethos of aiming to reducing health inequalities and promoting health and well being, was something that was very close to my heart. When a vacancy for a board member came up I was very keen to get involved and make a contribution to the great work that was going on as well as share my own knowledge and expertise. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with BHA so far and have learnt so much. We are currently looking at setting a new strategy and objectives for BHA, so I am very excited to be able to make a positive contribution in the vision and plans for the organisation going forward. Being a board member for BHA is very rewarding and an effective way to make a contribution to your local community. It's a great way to share your own knowledge and skills as well as gain valuable experience at the same time. I would highly recommend to anyone to get involved!
